Terms and Conditions
- The competition is open to companies who are registered in the UK and Ireland, with the exception of employees of Fellowes, their immediate families, agents or anyone else associated with the administration of this promotion such as Identity Fraud Prevention Award partner organisations.
- The national competition is free to enter.
- Closing date for receipt of entries: 17 September 2010
- To enter the Identity Fraud Prevention Awards, participants must visit http://www.stop-idfraud.co.uk/awards.aspx and fill in the online entry form.
- The data entered will only be used in conjunction with the award and will not be released to any third party. The data will not be kept longer than two months after the completion of the award.
- The organiser accepts no responsibility for delay, damage or loss due to technical difficulties or resulting from misdirected or incomplete registrations.
- The winner(s) will receive a plaque in recognition of the company’s achievements and the rights to use the 2010 competition’s logo on websites and marketing materials.
- The judges’ decision will be final as to who the winner(s) is/are and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The judges’ decision will be final as to who the Identity Fraud Ambassadors are and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The winning entries will be selected (in the judges’ opinion) on the basis of the following criteria:
- How effectively the company has implemented anti-fraud measures.
- To what extent the company has gone above and beyond the legal requirements for its industry.
- How proactively the company has implemented anti-fraud measures
- Whether the company can demonstrate that they lead their industry in the fight against identity fraud.
- Each application may only be entered once; applications may not duplicated and be used for multiple entries.
- The organiser reserves the right to replace the entire prize or prize components with equal or greater value prizes in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
- No alternative prize will be offered. The prize is not transferable.
- The winner(s) must be willing to take part in any associated unpaid publicity, including photographs if required.
- The organiser reserves the right to verify that the winner complies with the entry criteria stated therein prior to confirming it as winner.
